Addiction Treatment for Veterans
The Veterans Recovery Center is a program designed to provide a safe, supportive, and drug-free recovery environment for veterans while receiving treatment in the Substance Use Disorder Program at the VA Medical Center. We provide dormitory style rooms, health and hygiene maintenance, nutritious meals, counseling when needed, and transportation to AA meetings and the VA Medical Center for treatment and/or other medical emergencies.
Although we serve out-of–state veterans through this program, individuals from Shreveport-Bossier City or Louisiana receive priority.
Our goal is to provide veterans with a supportive staff and comfortable environment to help you build a foundation in your early recovery.
Admission into CADA programs begins with a screening process to determine medical necessity. CADA has scheduled admissions, and does not accept walk-ins.
