ADMISSIONS INFORMATION

  • WHAT IS THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS?

When you call CADA, you will speak with an admissions representative and complete a confidential screening. The admissions representative will ask you questions about yourself and the problems you're experiencing. After this initial phone screening, we will schedule a time for you to come in for a confidential assessment or we will schedule a time for you to be admitted. All CADA admissions are scheduled. We do not accept same-day admissions or walk-ins.

If you don't have insurance, but qualify for Medicaid, our staff will help you apply for Medicaid. State funding may be available to prospective clients who are Medicaid-ineligible, do not have private insurance, and who make less than a certain income. Proof of income is required for individuals seeking this type of funding. The fee structure for self-pay clients is based upon reasonable and customary rates for similar services within the service area. Affordable payment plans are available.

LOCAL RESOURCES

  • WHAT ARE RECOVERY HOMES AND OXFORD HOUSES?

Recovery homes are shelters that base their program on being substance abuse free. An Oxford House is a democratically run, self-supporting, and drug free home. The purpose of recovery homes and Oxford Houses is to provide a safe and supportive environment for people in early sobriety who are not quite ready to live completely on their own. The recovery community in Shreveport-Bossier City offers several recovery homes in which we refer clients once they’ve completed our programs.
