What do you do at CADA?
I use my own lived experiences in substance use recovery and mental health to support and encourage others facing similar challenges.
How long have you been working at CADA?
A little over two years.
What surprised you about CADA, something you didn't know before coming here?
I WORK WITH THE POLICE. Law enforcement calls my team and I provide for assistance in crisis situations. The irony is palpable!
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Tell us about your family.
I have three amazing children, an incredible niece and brother-in-law, beautiful Louisiana cousins and a rockstar for a sister! My sister's name is Billie Mack (yes, my dad wanted boys).
What do you like to do in your free time? Hobbies/interests?
LSU baseball is my all-time favorite, but I really love all sports. I am a sophomore in college and active in a wonderful recovery community!
Favorite books/movies/music?
Book - Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, movie is great too! I love any music live and am an avid concert goer. My favorite movie is Vision Quest.
Tell us something about yourself that might surprise us.
I was the first Alaskan to qualify and attend the World Championship Quarter Horse Show where I placed in the Top 10...IN THE WORLD!
